This past week I discovered two really great ways to make a difference in the world.

The first one was Good Search. It is a search engine (like google) that gives money (about a penny per search) away to a charity of your choice every time you search using their engine. They also have a place to shop online that gives you discounts to places like Ebay, Target, Apple, etc...) 

The second one is GoodJoe. It is an ongoing shirt design competition centered around artisit and nonprofit organizations. Artists earn a $1 royalty for each t-shirt sold if their design is chosen. In addition, $1 dollar will be donated to local nonprofit organizations. Also all students get $200 towards their education.

 So this week I, with the help of Jake, designed a shirt for GoodJoe. If you have time and feel like making an account to support a good cause go vote for our shirt.

I am now into my second week of my internship. I've got 30 hours down, only 105 more to go. So far it has been really good. I go in at 9:00 3 days a week. I get free coffee from their coffee shop, and it's great. I have been able to design a banner, a t-shirt and other small projects. Jeremy (the guy that I am working under) has been really great! Today I was assigned to look up some Photoshop tutorials (he is a huge Photoshop guy and wants me to become more familiar with the program) I was able to successfully complete 3 tutorials and got partway through a fourth. Here is what I did thanks to tutorial Tuesday.
